Interactive Robotics classes and camps for all ages!

Education begins with play and hands-on learning is crucial. Code4Bots robotics classes and camps are a great way to get students excited about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and to engage them in complex, strategic problem-solving. Our award winning robot sets introduce students to concepts and skills that are needed for understanding the highly interactive information-based technology of the future.

For the beginner level, our robotics classes start with simpler concepts like the scientific principles of distance of speed, principle of pulleys, inertia, elasticity. At Code4Bots our beginner robotic kits are playful hands-on kits that can spark creative thinking in younger students.

In our intermediate and advanced level robotics classes, students can graduate onto more complex robotics kits that include motors, sensors and controllers that include programming lessons.

Techno Gears® Robotics Class 

Children ages 3-6 are still learning with their eyes and hands – exploring, molding, and manipulating objects. Our pre-school robotics classes and programs at Code4Bots engage students in fun educational play. Our robotics programs incorporate Techno Kids® and Techno Gears® allowing kids to build any design using gears and cranks that jump start their imagination, promote color, size and shape recognition while challenging their problem-solving skills.

Lego® WeDo 2.0 Robotics Class 

At Code4Bots, our LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 robotics classes and camps are developed to engage and motivate elementary students’ interest in learning science- and engineering-related subjects. This is done through the use of motorized LEGO models and simple programming. The LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 robotics class is a hands-on STEM solution that combines the LEGO® brick, friendly software and engaging projects.

This course encouraging students to leverage UBTECH’s® award winning technology solutions and their passion for learning STEM principles thru robotics and their motors and sensors to control the robots movements.

JIMU™ Robotics Class 

Welcome to the world of Jimu™ . Robotics classes and camps focused on an interactive robotic building block system that emboldens students to build and program amazing robots. Students engage in hands-on STEAM learning by programming JIMU™ robots using the Blockly coding platform, or by creating entirely new, custom actions with the PRP (Pose, Record, Play) function. UBTECH® JIMU™ Robotics classes will strengthen our students programming skills and provide invaluable learning experiences. Our Jimu™ lineup includes robot kits such as Builderbots, UnicornBot, Tankbot, Buzzbot & Muttbot, Astrobot, Explorer Kit and Inventor Kit.

Builders of all ages will love building and coding their fully-functional robot to walk, talk, and even play games or complete tasks! This educational STEM robot toy makes engineering fun for everyone who builds it. The Lego® Mindstorm® EV3 Robotics class curriculum module is designed to teach core computer programming logic and reasoning skills using a robotics engineering context.

UKIT™ Advanced Robotics Class 

UKIT® Advanced Robotics class incorporates an intelligent humanoid robotics kit based on an Arduino-compatible controller using an integrated education solution that includes: building blocks; a user-friendly development environment; and curriculum for any makerspace or formal education environment. In our UKIT® Advanced Robotics class, students experiment with an open-source programming kit that allows graphics-based programming to text-based programming. This course is designed for advanced users.

Code4Bots offers after school Robotics Classes at many CISD elementary campuses. Visit our after school program page to learn how your child will explore the exciting world of robotics and engineering (STEM). Our program combines the versatility of Jimu™ building blocks and intuitive drag-and-drop programming software. This robotics adventure encourages teamwork, problem solving, and creativity. Students get to take their robot home after course completion!

Code4Bots offers coding classes & camps starting from basic object oriented to advanced programming languages. With our coding curriculum, students will develop valuable skills.

Our coding classes and camps are encouraging to students as they build confidence and joyfully interact with programming languages to create interactive games, animations and programs.

We are currently offering coding classes & camps in: Scratch Jr., Scratch, Python, Greenfoot, Java Script, PHP, Arduino and Rasperry Pi.

Scratch Coding: Themed Projects

– Introduction to computer programming.

– We generate interest and curiosity while establishing a sense of competency.

– No previous knowledge of coding is required.

– Separate teams for different age-groups

– We use different projects to trigger boys’ & girls’ interests:

  • Storytelling: Create fun and interactive stories through coding.
  • Fashion & Design & Arts: Learn how coding and technology are used in the fashion industry.
  • Game Design and Animation: learn to code different games, including racing, platform, maze, … etc
  • Sports: learn to code your own fitness gadget commercial, and create commentary for a big sporting event.
  • Social Media: learn to code fun social media style applications and games.

Game Development Track:

– This is an advanced game development workshop using Python concepts and applications.

– Students learn new game mechanics and techniques using basic syntax and logic structuring.

– Students learn to build a full-fledged game they’ll be excited to share with their friends and family.

– Expand students’ imagination and options when building their own games.

– Previous coding experience is preferred but not necessary.

Web Development Track

– This is a website development workshop using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

– Students learn advanced web development, including scripting to make interactive web pages.

– Students learn to create a shareable interactive web page and a personality quiz web application project.

– Students will understand how to create a new website or alter existing web pages.

– Previous coding experience is preferred but not necessary.

Lego Mindstorms EV3: Robot Craftsman

LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 Robot Craftsman class gives students the power to create and command their own robotic LEGO® creatures, vehicles, machines and inventions! Builders will love building and coding their fully-functional robot to walk, talk, and even play games or complete tasks! This educational STEM robot makes engineering fun for everyone who builds it. The Lego® Mindstorm® EV3 Robot Craftsman class is designed to teach core computer programming logic and reasoning skills using a robotics engineering context. Students will master the use of analog sensors, learn about robotic design and  apply age-appropriate math and physics concepts.

Lego WeDo 2.0: Robot Apprentice

LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 Robot Apprentice classes are developed to engage and motivate elementary students’ interest in learning science- and engineering-related subjects. This is done through the use of motorized LEGO models and simple programming. The LEGO® WeDo 2.0 Robotic Apprentice class is a hands-on STEM solution that combines the LEGO® brick, friendly software and engaging projects. We use a hands-on approach to design, build and program a simple robots. Our class enhances students’ curiosity, logic skills and problem-solving strategies.

Jimu Robots: Robot Maker

Welcome to the world of Jimu™ Robots. Our classes focus on an interactive robotic building block system that emboldens students to build and program amazing robots.
